Why should you use Good Sweet Earth's OrganicFarmHandSoap?
It's been tested by farmers, it's used by farmers, and the people behind it are farmers.
It's got oats to exfoliate and scrub; it's got shea butter to moisturize.
It has no artificial fragrances or colors. In fact, it's unscented and neutral.
Gentlemen: It's not a "fancy" soap.
Ladies: It's not a "manly" soap.
It simply cleans your hands without turning them into raw, bloody appendages, or dainty flowers.
It will make you smell like a clean human being.
A portion of Good Sweet Earth's profits are donated to Farm Aid. When you buy from us, you're supporting family farms and healing the planet.
It's made in the USA by a mom-and-pop company who put people and the planet before profits.
It's made from 85% organic ingredients. It's some of the most organic soap you'll find on the market. When it comes to certifying soap organic, things get tricky. Here's the run-down for you science people: For the USDA to label an item "Organic," at least 95% of the stuff inside needs to be organic. Bar soaps, will always fall short of that magical 95% organic mark. Bar soaps require lye for their production. Lye-- or sodium hydroxide-- accounts for around 10-15% of soap ingredients, by weight, and it's not organic. So even if every other ingredient in that bar of soap were USDA certified organic, the soap is never going to reach the 95% standard. That being said, our soap comes darn close at 85%.
You can count the number of ingredients in OrganicFarmHandSoap on your two hands: Oil of sunflower/safflower (organic), coconut oil (organic), palm oil (organic, sustainable, sourced from South America), oats (organic), shea butter, honey, rosemary extract, plus the stuff you need to make soap (lye and water). We've tested dozens of recipes with farmers and gardeners, and this is the one they universally loved. Simple and effective.
Good Sweet Earth's OrganicFarmHandSoap is all things to all people. Well, maybe not. But we're absolutely sure you're going to love using it!
