Volunteer opportunity: Board Recording Secretary
Description: The Recording Secretary is a volunteer position with Good Sweet Earth Grassroots, serving on the organization's executive committee, that will oversee and manage the organization's records, meeting minutes, communications with the Board and other duties as necessary. The Treasurer will partner with and meet with the President and Executive Director to ensure the organization’s records remain in line with the core values, mission and vision statement of Good Sweet Earth Grassroots. This is largely a remote position, but candidates must be able to spend 3-4 hours per month on volunteer activities related to the Recording Secretary position. Term is two years, with possibility for additional terms. Must be able to attend all quarterly meetings of the Good Sweet Earth Grassroots Board.
Experience: Qualified candidates should be passionate about the mission of Good Sweet Earth Grassroots, and willing to promote the organization's mission to the general public. Applicants must be 18 years of age. In addition, qualified candidates should possess at least two of the following:
