As a nonprofit, we rely on your support to keep our programs operating and affordable. Every gift helps support our work and creates healthier yards across West Michigan. Here’s how your donation makes a difference:
Clover is Not a Weed campaign: Your support helps us teach people why clover is good for lawns and allows us to keep handing out free clover seed at community events and workshops.
Your gift supports: More lawns that help pollinators, fewer harsh lawn chemicals and stronger, drought-resistant yards.
Organic Lawn program: Your donation keeps our lawn services affordable, supporting our monthly Worm Compost Tea applications and lawn seed distribution.
Your gift supports: Affordable natural lawn care for West Michigan households.
Electric Vehicle fund: Your gift supports our zero-emission work vehicles. EVs lower pollution and help us serve more neighborhoods cleanly.
Your gift supports: Cutting more than 5 tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere each year.
Workshop & Education fund: Your donation supports classes and online info that teach people about organic lawn care and soil health.
Your gift supports: Reaching thousands of West Michigan households with helpful, hands-on education.
Genesis 2:15 fund: Your gift brings organic lawn and garden education into faith communities across West Michigan. It funds creation care workshops and allows us to donate plants, seed and fertilizer to local congregations.
Your gift supports: Helping churches, temples and religious communities implement eco-friendly lawn practices, with resources rooted in Biblical teachings.
Protect MI Pollinators: Every $95 gift supports more than 60,000 square feet of pollinator-friendly yard space across West Michigan. Donors to this fund also receive seed for their own yard.
Your gift supports: Distribution of native pollinator-friendly seed, educational resources, climate science scholarship funds, monarch sanctuaries and organic family farms.
Seed Club Sponsorships: A $100 gift sponsors one household, giving them access to high-quality lawn seed through our Seed Club. This helps us reach more households with healthier ways of caring for their yards.
Your gift supports: Less toxic lawn chemicals in our environment and more healthy, organic lawns in underserved communities.
Tool Shed program: Your financial gift to our Tool Shed helps keep our tool shed stocked with low-price lawn and garden tools, making lawn care and backyard gardening more accessible to households across West Michigan.
Your gift supports: Low-cost lawn and garden tools for sale on our website; and keeps our free fertilizer spreader loaner program going for West Michigan homes.
Vermicomposting program: Your gift supports getting worm compost into local yards and gardens, turning food scraps into rich fertilizer.
Your gift supports: Less waste in landfills and healthier soil.
