This tree pruner extends from 7 feet to 12 feet and handles branches up to 1 inch in diameter. The pole is fiberglass and the blade is steel. To make a cut, you position the hooked blade around the branch and pull the rope, which draws the blade closed and cuts through. The sections lock together as you extend the pole to the length you need. Good for cutting branches that are overhead or otherwise out of reach without a ladder.
